Leg Vein Treatments

Anyone can suffer with small varicose and thread veins. They are caused when small clusters of red veins form just beneath the skin. Although harmless, they can cause distress as the sufferer often feels self-conscious, particularly if the blemish is on an exposed part of the body, such as the legs. The Arlington Aesthetic Clinic can treat thread, spider and the smallest varicose veins easily and effectively with Sclerotherapy.

How does sclerotherapy work?

Sclerotherapy is particularly suited to treat thread and flare veins on the legs. This procedure involves an injection of medication, which damages the wall of the vein and causes it to collapse and be reabsorbed. We can inject into all but the very tiniest of veins. Any that are too small to inject can be treated with Multi Pulsed Light (MPL).

What are the benefits?

Imagine beautiful legs free of unsightly veins – you will be able to wear whatever you want in the summer without worrying.

How many treatments will I need?

This depends on the number and extent of the veins and some people only need one treatment. A few leg veins will require multiple treatments over several months and of course we will advise you when we see you. For more information and to discuss your questions in complete confidence with one of our medical team, call the clinic on 01323 735635.

Minor Surgery

The clinic offers minor surgery for cysts, moles and other blemishes. Performed under local anaesthetic, these procedures usually take no longer than 20 to 45 minutes. We can also treat skin tags and solar keratosis (small lumps on the skin caused by a lot of exposure to the sun) by freezing them with liquid nitrogen. Please ask us for more information on our minor surgery.
