Botox is Allergan’s trademark for Botulinum. Botulinum relaxes the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. It is also used for excessive underarm sweating (Hyperhidrosis) and can be effective in the treatment of headaches caused by muscle tension.

Treatment for lines, wrinkles and headaches lasts about 3-6 months. When used for excessive sweating it may last up to year.
